Kameshia FreemanChief Operating Officer of Allan Bailey Johnson Group, LLC
Kameshia serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Allan Bailey Johnson Group. In this role, she is responsible for providing oversight of the administrative activities of the organization and facilitating the company’s strategy and direction. She assists with setting comprehensive performance goals and evaluating organizational success by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
Kameshia spent her entire career with the federal government. In her most recent position, she served as the Director for the Center for Broker Services, Office of Leasing with the General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service headquarters in Washington, DC. With more than 21 years of experience in government real estate, strategic planning, and contract and policy development, she provided technical direction and program oversight to contractors and regional program managers nationwide for three national broker contracts. In addition, she served as the senior advisor for the brokerage program where she facilitated communication with key internal and external stakeholders. Kameshia’s most notable accomplishment is having led the development for GSA’s third and fourth generation brokerage contracts, GSA Leasing Support Services (GLS) Plus and its predecessor, GLS.
Kameshia successfully managed a brokerage program that resulted in more than 5,500 task orders awards over the past 15 years. She managed GSA brokers who were tasked with 52 million square feet of lease assignments that resulted in approximately $450 million in broker commissions and more than $300 million in rent credits.
During her career, Kameshia received numerous awards and served on several regional and national committees. She was nominated for the 2020 FedScoop, Disruptor of the Year Award. This award is given to leading innovators not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom and shake up the status quo.
Under her leadership, her team was the recent recipient of the 2020 GSA Acquisition Innovation in Action Award for the development of GLS Plus. In addition, they were also the recipients of the 2016 Project Management Award and the 2016 Real Property Innovation Special Achievement Award. Kameshia was also recognized for her support in New Orleans during the Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts.
